Getting Started with TA

Technical analysis is one of the most popular techniques used in trading.

TA is a technique used to help examine and predict the future prices of securities/assets by looking at things like price movement, charts, trends, trading volume and other factors. It can be considered by many a simplified approach to trading, but it has evolved to something much more than that.

With the technology available now, it has moved on from drawing trend-lines or following a Moving Average crossover strategy to plot entries or exits. Nowadays people using TA have the exposure to so many powerful tools, using Multiple technical indicators, pulling intra-market analysis, machine learning, and artificial intelligence are just a few examples of the tools and methods used to peoples advantage.

One example of the innovative techniques we use in Mintify is collecting data in real-time by fetching information from every block. All the on-chain data we use for our charts is being pulled directly from the blockchain and we don't rely on third party APIs for this data.

To help get a general understanding of TA and charting, there are a couple of YouTube suggestions listed below.
